Below is a list of Unity Friends!
People and groups who use the space at Unity of Buffalo on a regular basis. These events/courses are open to the public and Unity members:
Friends of Vienna:
Friends of Vienna is a classical chamber music series featuring a variety of various performers presented at Unity of Buffalo on Sunday afternoons. Click the "Friends of Vienna" link to visit their website!
A Course In Miracles (ACIM):
A Course in Miracles – is a unique, universal, self-study spiritual thought system that teaches that the way to Love and Inner Peace is through forgiveness. Although the language of the Course is that of traditional Christianity, it expresses a non-sectarian, non-denominational spirituality. A Course in Miracles therefore is a universal spiritual teaching, not a religion.
This on-going weekly study group has been meeting at Unity of Buffalo for more than 20 years. The group meets every Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. Some people come regularly every week, others come when they can. Newcomers are always welcome. The conversation and sharing is always rich and meaningful.
PeopleArt Coffee House :
PeopleArt is a volunteer run venue presenting original and traditional acoustic music on Fridays, 9-11 pm. PeopleArt is held in the Friendship Hall of Unity Church. 'Like' PeopleArt on Facebook by clicking the link!
Playback Theatre of Buffalo:
Uses Unity of Buffalo as its home base and rehearsal space. Playback is unique improvisational theatre in which the actors "play back" real life stories shared by audience members. The actors listen for the heart of each story. Then they act it out—improvising movement and dialogue, sound and image. Playback performances celebrate and illuminate the serious, the comic and the mundane moments in our lives as a way of sharing and building community. Dates and locations of both performances and “open” rehearsals are announced in church. For more information, contact Dr. Anna Kay France, Playback Artistic Director through our church office or their Facebook page (Playback Theatre of Buffalo). Be Prepared to Be Inspired!
